Templeton hosted the January Division Council Meeting (DCM). As it took place right before the Superbowl, guests were encouraged to wear their team colors! Despite the rain, we had representatives from every club in the district make it — not an easy feat! The Kiwanis Club of Templeton thanks each and every Kiwanian who made it to our event. A great time was had by all!

On November 21, we participated in the Templeton Turkey Trot! Hosted by the local Rotary Club, this run/walk was a great way to say hello to our fellow Templetonians.

Stuart describes the equipment used to move horses in need.

Stuart McElhinney of Horse Emergency Evacuation Team (HEET) spoke at our October 16th meeting. HEET is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization that was created to rescue horses in the case of a fire or other natural disaster. As many Templeton Kiwanians have horses or other livestock, Stuart’s presentation hit close to home in our little ranch town.
